When you use Metric, we collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, organisation name, and any data you submit through our platform (application forms, pitch decks, evaluation scores, and uploaded documents).
We also collect usage data automatically, including IP addresses, browser type, device information, pages visited, and timestamps. This data helps us improve the platform and diagnose issues.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the Metric platform and its features
- To process form submissions, evaluate applications, and generate AI-powered insights
- To communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests
- To improve our services, including training and improving our AI models on aggregated, anonymised data
- To comply with legal obligations
3. AI Processing
Metric uses artificial intelligence to evaluate submissions, parse documents, and generate insights. Your submission data may be processed by third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, or Groq) to perform these evaluations. We send only the minimum data necessary for processing. These providers are contractually bound not to use your data for their own training purposes.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in encrypted databases and enterprise-grade cloud storage. Files are stored in Cloudflare R2 with signed URLs that expire after a short period. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- AI service providers for submission processing (as described above)
- Cloud infrastructure providers who host our services
- Law enforcement when required by law
6. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. Program managers may export or delete cohort data at any time through the platform.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
